Four days of top Western swing bands! Three days of dancing at historic National Hall, plus a concert at Will Rogers Auditorium on Sunday afternoon.
Dance to Billy Mata's Texas Tradition with Floyd Domino and Luke Moody; Bob Wills Texas Playboys under the direction of Jason Roberts; Greg Gibbs and Texas Standard Time with Luke Moody; Mariachi Real de Alvarez; Jake Hooker & the Outsiders plus Tommy Hooker; John England & the Nashville Western Swingers; Grace Partridge and the Stardust Cowboys; Jody Nix & the Texas Cowboys; Mary Lee & Caesar's Cowboys; George and his New Heartaches; and Wyatt Aleman & the Texas Range Cowboys. On Sunday, hear the Kristyn Harris Band, followed by Dave Alexander and his 65-piece orchestra.
The weekend also includes a Stockyards tour, and a screening of the award-winning documentary The Birth & History of Western Swing, chronicling the 1930s origins of western swing, narrated by Red Steagall.
